What type of home loans can LendHero help clients obtain?

LendHero can assist with a wide variety of home loans, including but not limited to loans for primary residences, second residences, vacation homes and investment properties. LendHero has experience financing townhomes, single family residences, condominiums and 2-4 family residences (i.e., duplex, triplex, quadplex).

Note: LendHero does not assist with loans for properties that are just land or commercial/industrial properties.

Is there a minimum credit score required to work with LendHero?

There is no minimum credit score to work with LendHero and we have experience helping customers with a wide range in credit scores. A higher credit score will allow you (the borrower) to obtain a better interest rate, but a lower credit score won’t necessarily preclude you from obtaining a home loan.

Note: Completing an application with LendHero will not impact your credit score because LendHero uses a soft check, not a hard check to review your score. We always recommend everyone apply with LendHero before jumping to conclusions that their credit score will not allow them to buy a home. LendHero will review your options and help you determine the path to home ownership that makes the most sense for you.

How long does the process typically take?

The timeline is measured from the day the borrower goes under contract to buy a home or the day the borrower locks in their interest rate to refinance a home and lasts until the home loan is closed. LendHero has a track record of closing transactions in as little as 2 weeks. The average time to close a transaction is 17 days and the typical closing timeline is 25 days. The reason the typical closing timeline is 25 day is because of the time it takes to order a VA appraisal, which is a process that no lender can control.
